This film is about organic compounds that are called alcohols. Alcohol is not a human invention. It occurs naturally, for example in ripe fruits. Yeast is involved in all alcoholic fermentation processes. Since yeast spores can be found almost everywhere in nature they only need the proper conditions to reproduce. This film shows how they are produced and their molecular structure, as well as the differences between the different kinds. Solvent properties and different uses of alcohol are also looked at more closely.
